These four champions dominate the meta with high pick rates and win rates exceeding 50 percent. Nautilus remains a strong secondary option in Tier A with an 11.0 percent pick rate.
Nami holds the highest win rate among top-tier supports at 52.0 percent followed closely by Thresh at 51.6 percent. Braum also performs exceptionally well with a 51.2 percent win rate in high-level matches. Lulu rounds out the positive win rate group at 50.3 percent while Nautilus follows at 49.3 percent.
Nami and Thresh are the most reliable blind picks as they maintain high win rates despite having low ban rates of 3.1 percent and 3.8 percent respectively. This indicates they are frequently available and perform well across various matchups. In contrast, Lulu and Braum face much higher ban rates which makes them less consistent options for every game.
Top champions like Nami and Lulu are powerful because they offer immense utility and synergy with team compositions as evidenced by their high win rates. Thresh and Braum provide the playmaking and defensive peel necessary to succeed in Diamond+ where coordination is higher. Their high pick rates suggest these champions have kits that are currently optimized for the 16.2.1 meta.
Champion pools should be reassessed with every patch update to account for balance changes that affect win rates and ban rates. With over 22,000 games analyzed this patch, it is clear that Nami and Lulu are currently the most stable picks. Staying updated ensures you are not playing champions that fall below the average win rate of 43.15 percent.
The data shows that the most successful supports currently have pick rates above 11.0 percent suggesting a concentrated meta of high-performers. Since the average win rate across all 128 champions is only 43.15 percent, many low pick-rate champions likely struggle to compete. Focusing on Tier S champions like Nami and Thresh is generally more effective for climbing in Diamond+.
Tier S placements are determined by a combination of high win rates and significant pick rates, such as Nami's 19.2 percent play rate. High ban rates like Braum's 19.0 percent also indicate a champion's strength and perceived threat level in the current meta. Champions like Nautilus are placed in Tier A because they have high presence but slightly lower win rates compared to the top four.
