Caitlyn is currently the most popular choice among Diamond+ players, appearing in 15.6% of games. She is followed closely by Kaisa at 14.4% and Jinx at 12.8%. Varus and Yunara also see significant play, rounding out the top five most frequent picks for the position.

Draven is the most heavily banned champion, removed from 31.4% of games due to his oppressive early game. Mel follows as a major ban target at 28.9%, with Varus, Caitlyn, and Yasuo also being frequently targeted by bans. This indicates that players are prioritizing the removal of high-pressure laners and specific meta threats.

Varus holds the highest overall presence at 38.4%, making him a central figure in the draft phase. Draven and Caitlyn follow closely with presence rates of 36.6% and 36.0%, respectively. Seraphine leads the pack with an impressive 57.5% win rate, followed by Yasuo at 57.0%. Veigar and Tristana also perform exceptionally well, boasting win rates of 55.9% and 55.5%. Nilah completes the top five high-performers, showing that mages and melee carries are currently very effective in the bot lane.

Given the high win rates of mages, you should consider picking Seraphine or Veigar to capitalize on their current strength. If you prefer traditional marksmen, focusing on Caitlyn or Jinx is a safe bet as they remain highly picked despite heavy bans on other carries. You must also be prepared to play against or ban Varus and Draven, as they have the highest presence in the lane.

Patch 16.2.1 has created a meta where unconventional picks like Seraphine and Yasuo are statistically superior to traditional marksmen. While standard ADCs like Caitlyn and Kaisa remain popular, their win rates are overshadowed by mages and specialized carries. This suggests a shift toward tactical variety where pick-rate popularity does not always equate to the highest chance of winning.
