This is a heavy sustain lane where you hold all the cards. Malphite wants to poke you down with Q until you are low enough for an R combo, but your E shield and W damage reduction completely negate his win condition.

You are a hard counter to Sion. His primary threat is his telegraphed CC which your kit is designed to ignore or dodge. In the short mid lane, you have plenty of walls to utilize R for easy isolation and kills.
