Finally, next to the changes to boot rewards in midlane, we are also adjusting MR for all ADC champions to help them out against mages early game. We also hope this will help a few of them in mid lane, where we believe a healthier pool of AD champions (including potentially Akshan and Tristana) will also help create a more diverse jungle meta beyond AD fighters.
Since his nerfs earlier this year, Aphelios has fallen in priority and win rate. With some power budget freed up, we're pulling back on some of those earlier nerfs to highlight each gun's unique strengths.
Even after our hotfix nerfs in 26.1, Aphelios remains as one of the most dominant marksmen in the game. We're lowering his damage to make him a little less powerful at all stages of the game.
Many of Aphelios's abilities can crit, and while we compensated for this power increase, he's still become one of the strongest champions in the game. We're here to reduce some of that burst damage while preserving the power of his weaker AD-AS builds.
Aphelios has a lot of intricacies and some of his abilities try to behave exactly like basic attacks. With that in mind, we're converting Severum's active to total attack damage in line with similar abilities...
